Flock... AGAIN!!!!!

You can search through your favourites in the menu. I think this is some of the Chrome functionality. I also think that if your friends have flock you can share your bookmarks. Anyone else tried out flock yet? I'm using it at least 50% of the time now. It's just easier than firefox. Also in the facebook/ twitter bar down the side, you click on one of the links in the post, it opens in a new tab not in the current one. Better than losing your current page.

Flock continued

Man, I love the functions on this thing, but boy you can tell its a beta. Server connection troulbes, random crashes at start up. Do love how easy it is to store my bookmarks though. Means I don't have to visit another website like Delicious or something, keeps everything nice and simple.

Flock

Flock is something I'm not certain about. It lets me view twitter and facebook posts without visiting the site, which is good for me. I hate viewing tweets on twitter and I can reply to them through flock. Only catch is that the flock account server is unreliable. You can't always connect to it.
Other good things.
You can manage your bookmarks through your flock account. Assigning tags is easy and you can access them on any computer with flock installed.
It's very clear.

Man, there are a lot spelling mistakes in that thing. The translator- it must just pick up on shapes, right? Doesn't it have an auto correct option? Then again, if it did, it could make the wrong decisions about the words. This could mean that errors would go unnoticed

Twitter password

I forgot my password. This is what I hate about web 2.0. You forget something for one account and your in trouble. Google accounts make life so much easier.

Google docs and Google wave

Hi all,
I think Google Docs is too like Google wave for wave to flourish. Two people can edit the same thing at the same time. It makes me think that perhaps Google Wave's problem is that it's another offering, which has too much of everything else. Everyone can simply use what the used before as opposed to trying something new. I have used google docs a lot and it has a lot of the same functions, like two people modifying something at once. Its also got the advantage of being more trad.

Twitter again

Hello all
I have to admit, I've barely used twitter. I guess it's partly my resistance to it and partly being another website for me to visit. I do like the way businesses use it though. Publish offers, stick up jokes to catch public attention, et cetera. For someone like me, both resistant and unfamiliar to Twitter, the main use I see for it is business. I can see that if you were used to it or enjoyed writing it, it would be useful, but for me I just don't let it enter my head space as a communication tool. I loved Wave and I like Google reader, but I think my biggest problem with Twitter is my lack of will to explore it yet.
I didn't seem to find anyone else apart form Cam and the tutor for some reason.
